The Human Doctor

The Human version of the Doctor, left behind on "Pete`s World" with Rose - how did they get on? We would all like to think they lived happily ever after. At the end of Journey`s End - an extra scene shows The Doctor give his clone a piece of coral from the Tardis. This was left out of the aired episode as it was considered it would make things complicated but i`m sure everyone would have like it to have been included.

The question is though - how did Rose react to have the new Doctor thrust upon her, after all the time it took to find him again. We know the human version whispered in her ear but we all know what he was saying otherwise she wouldn`t have kissed him. What happened after they left Bad Wolf Bay?

There have been a lot of fan-made stories about what happened to them. The best one so far I have read is really worth taking a look at although it is just the first part the writer promises more and I am eagerly awaiting the outcome.

The question is though - did they get married, are they still together, have they any kids? Did they grow another Tardis and fly of into space or would the Tardis not re-grow or there was no time - vortex?

When they first encountered Pete`s World, the time-vortex was gone which is why they crash-landed and they only got back because there was a small light still working which re-charged after The Doctor breathed on it and it gave them enough power to get back home. Will they be as lucky this time if they managed to grow a new Tardis?

The Human doctor though may be exactly the same but he has only one heart or so he says. Was he just saying that to make Rose feel better, that she would be happy knowing he would grow old with her and not regenerate. Is he still keeping a secret, is he really half-human and only has one life? We would like to think so. They were both so lonely for so long and finally found each other proving that true love really does conquer all even across universes and nothing can get in it`s way.

Rose never gave up looking for him and was finally rewarded only to have it nearly snached away from her again when he was shot by a Dalek and she thought he would change again. Instead though he healed himself and poured the residual energy into his hand which we all know turned into the other Doctor.

Was the Human Doctor happy to be left behind with Rose or did he want them both to be able to travel together again or go back to our earth. They could not have both stayed with the original Doctor as eventually they would have realised he was leaving them behind so they could be happy -something he could never have been with Rose as there was always a danger he would re-generate and she would leave him. He could finally move on and leave Rose with another version of himself knowing that his human clone would indeed take care of her and she would always remember him the way he was even if he did change again.

The 10th Doctor is missing Rose

After his battle with the Master and the Time Lords, he still does not believe his time is up after he absorbs all the radiation. He goes to see all his friends one more time and waits until the very end before going to see his beloved Rose. Even the thought that he has left her on the parallel earth with his human self, he has to see her one more time and chooses to go just before he first met her. How he manages not to say anything to her, just that she will have a great year is tear-jerking. How has he managed without her? He has met other females on his travels but non compare with Rose. She was one of a kind. Right at the end when he knew he was about to re-generate, you could see how much he wanted to say so much more to her but couldn`t in case he did or said anything that would prevent their first meeting then both of them would have lost something truly special.

The Doctor and Rose right from the beginning was surely a love story with a difference.

The latest series

The latest series of Doctor Who just doesn`t seem real. Ok, all David`s fans were devastated when he left, determined never to watch the programme ever again and saying no-one could ever take his place, I was one of them. My curiosity got the better of me and I started watching the new series for any mention of the 10th Doctor or his half-human clone and Rose. So far, EVERY episode I have seen is just a repeat of what has already happened in the last four series. Similarities in characters such as Amy Pond and Rose Tyler, Rory and Mickey, Daleks turning on each other because of change, Earthships supporting life similar to where the Doctor met madame de pompadour - it`s all been done before. I haven`t seen an original episode yet. Rose meeting the 9th Doctor and leaving her boyfriend, taking an instant liking to him and following him everywhere is the same as Amy meeting the 11th Doctor and going off with him the day before her wedding, Rory, getting left behind then starting to travel with them is the same as Mickey. Daleks creating new Daleks who then turn on their creators is the same as Dalek Sec becoming a human Dalek and the others exterminating him for changing. I`m not going to say anything about the interior of the Tardis - my 7 year old Grandson could have done a better job.
It is just screaming out " let`s not bother writing new episodes when we can re-write the old ones" We`ll just change a few names, a few places, add a few recurring characters and some famous personalities and hey presto series 5.

Come back Russell T Davies, what HAVE you left us with? You would never have allowed this to happen. The 11th Doctor is being just like the 10th wanted to be, always acting his shoe size not his age.

Maybe The Master has just hypnotized everyone into believing the new series is just brilliant and we`ve never seen anything like them and made us forget what we`ve seen in the past.

There will always be the David fans V the Matt fans but this is not about that. They are both good at what they do, they both portray the part of the Doctor in their own styles.

In "End of time" part 2, the 10th Doctor realised that he really did enjoy being himself as he was, he really didn`t want another personality taking over and he tried so desperately to make every second last and not to give in until there really was no way out and if he`d know the 11th Doctor was going to do exactly the same as he`d just done and meet someone just like Rose he maybe, just maybe would not have minded so much.

That Tardis interior though is just taking the biscuit - that is the only thing that`s not a repeat and hopefully won`t be ever again. Did they let someome loose with a colouring book and crayons?

The Ood told The Doctor his song was ending soon, but he was in no hurry to hear the ending. He was contacted but made a few stops along the way before going back to the Ood-sphere.

Re-generation scene

Having watched the scene again, it has to be about the most spectacular and explosive one ever. It was rumoured that when the time came to introduce the 11th Doctor that the Tardis would have a new look and that certainly seems the case. With the Tardis crashing to earth let`s hope it just lands in one piece!

It was sad though, watching the change, I never watched it much before David Tennant took over, he really made the programme enjoyable. He was funny, never stopped talking and most of all was full of enthusiasm for everything - a "perfect 10!"

Re-generation

The time has almost come

Only 1 more day until the final part of the 10th Doctors` final adventure. Just as much as everyone wants to watch it, most of us don`t want him to re-generate. Most of the female population like him just the way he is (including Rose) but we have one consolation - his half-human clone. Tucked away safe and sound with Rose on the parallel earth after being taken there when he wiped out the Daleks (again) to live hopefully happily ever after with the love of his life.

From the previews we have seen though, he won`t give up without a fight

More on The Timelords

Lots of speculation gathering about the Timelords returning. The question is, how did they survive the timewar and how did The Doctor not know if they had survived? Maybe it was because they hid themselves just as The Master did in case the Daleks survived, which we know that Davros and Dalek Cahn survived but did they get away at the end of Journey`s End?
Maybe the Timelords have been gathering strength and are now ready to reveal themselves and take their place in the universe again.
